Hey everybody, welcome to the Wisconsin Investor Podcast. My name is Corey Reyment, I am your host and I am here to talk all things Wisconsin real estate investing. So I wanted to come on just for a quick episode to just share a little bit about what this show is going to be all about, why you should listen, a little bit about my background and who the heck am I, and then what's coming in the future. So we really wanted to design a podcast for people who are specifically looking to invest in Wisconsin. So, whether that means you already invest in Wisconsin and we can enhance your investing, provide you with some examples of other people who are having success in these markets around Wisconsin, or bring on experts who focus in Wisconsin, that's our focus. We want to help you, the Wisconsin investor, if you are someone outside of Wisconsin and you're looking for a new market to invest in, we also want to be a resource for you and provide you with insights into Wisconsin and why should you maybe look at Wisconsin as an investment? I know there's a lot of states out there, a lot of areas you could invest in, but why should you choose Wisconsin? So my background I got started in real estate in 2016 and went from zero to a hundred doors in just under three years with about $26,000 to my name. Then my wife and I did this together, began and then we started doing wholesaling, flipping. We've done seller finance, rent to own a little bit of everything in the real estate space and we're really excited because my experience is one thing, but then to bring on other people who are either other fellow investors that are doing things that you can learn from or other experts that focus in Wisconsin that you can learn from, that we've benefited from. A lot of the people that I'm going to bring on the show are people that I actually use in my own business. For example, coming up in the future here one of the episodes we're going to have one of the top seller finance attorneys in the country, who happens to have an office in Wisconsin and also down in Phoenix, where seller financing is much more prevalent than it is here in Wisconsin. But he's going to talk about you're going to hear all the different important legal things to know about the difference between land contract, rent to own all those different things. He brings it all. So it's a great episode and he'll probably be a repeat guest on the show. We'll also have our accountant that we use, who's a real estate specific accountant. He's going to be talking all about how to legally pay $0 in taxes through real estate investing. So I'm really excited for you guys to hear that episode and so many more. We've got other investors who are just having success. We're talking just picking their brains on these episodes and pulling out these little strategies and tips of how did they become successful in their own way. So I'm really excited to go on this journey with you guys.
